Position Advertisement: Eastlake Police Patrol Officer / Eastlake Firefighter/Medic

The Eastlake Civil Service Commission is accepting applications to establish an eligibility list for the position of both full-time Police Officer and full-time Firefighter/Paramedic. Applications are available and must be returned to the Eastlake Police Department, 35150 Lakeshore Blvd., Eastlake, OH.

Must be a US citizen, 20 years of age to participate in either exam and at least 21 years of age for appointment. Must have high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license. An OPOTA certificate is preferred but not required for the police examination. State of Ohio Firefighter II/Paramedic is required for the fire test.

Exam fee of $30 (cash only), non-refundable, due upon submitting a completed application. Limited to the first 100 valid applications (each) received by 11:59 p.m. Sept. 11, 2020. The written test date is Sept. 15, 2020 6:30 p.m. at North High School, 34041 Stevens Blvd., Eastlake, Ohio. The City of Eastlake is an equal opportunity employer.
