Our Goals
- Prevent criminal activities in the City of Eastlake and Lakeline Village.
- Apprehend and arrest criminals and recover stolen property.
- Enforce traffic laws fairly and reasonably, directed toward a reduction in property damage, personal injury, and fatal accidents within our jurisdiction.
- Respond promptly to calls for service by the public.
- Treat all persons who come into contact with the Eastlake Police Department courteously and professionally.
- Aid the victims of crime by treating them with dignity and compassion.
- Utilize and conserve present resources to their maximum and reduce costs wherever possible, without reducing services to the public.
- Maintain a physically fit and well-trained force that can respond to any situation.
- Provide quality service to the community by promoting interaction between the police and the community.
- Educate the public about the problems of crime in the community and involve the community in its prevention.
